When a new beta of Firefox is a main reason that prevents me from running to install without worrying about bugs or the choice of ini instability: the fact that the extensions you currently use do not work certainly even in the latest version. Is that as I happens to you, for me Firefox has an irreplaceable value more extensions that exactly fit my needs, that the browser itself.
But with the latest beta of Firefox 4 it seems that things can be very different. Is that apparently that many programmers have already begun to adapt to extensions to avoid breaking in FF4. In fact, at this point are over 1,000 extensions already run well in the latest version of your browser.
However, the important thing is not quantity but quality as it were. Mil extensions are nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands who populate the catalog Firefox, but if you are the thousand most used, is another singing. Are our favorites list for Firefox 4? We can only know by testing one by one, unfortunately.
However, there is still a long couple of months for the final release of FF4, which by that time it is expected that almost all the extensions (and certainly all the most popular) are ready to go on air smoothly.
I personally have not installed FF4 on my computer, but after I learned of this is likely to do so shortly. Meanwhile, I wonder who of you are using, and what extensions work well with browser.
